WHO WE ARE

IMPACThealth is an interdisciplinary research group from the Institute of Collective Health at the Federal University of Bahia (Instituto de Saúde Coletiva da Universidade Federal da Bahia – ISC/UFBA) in Brazil and the Barcelona Institute for Global Health (ISGlobal) in Spain. We work collaboratively across Latin America, Europe, and Africa, combining expertise in epidemiology, public health, data science, economics, and social sciences.

WHAT MOVES US

We strive to understand how social, economic, and health policies shape population health and inequalities. Our group integrates advanced predictive modeling, and large-scale data analysis to generate evidence capable of guiding more effective, equitable and sustainable public policies.
