Website: https://isc.ufba.br/dsaids/ and https://probras.wordpress.com/
The study evaluates the effects of socioeconomic determinants, cash transfer programs, and primary health care on the incidence, hospitalization, treatment adherence, and mortality of HIV/AIDS. To achieve this, it will use one of the largest existing longitudinal databases: the 100 Million Brazilians Cohort, from the Center for Data and Knowledge Integration for Health at Fiocruz Bahia (Cidacs/Fiocruz Bahia), through the linkage of socioeconomic and health data. The project is led by the Institute of Collective Health at the Federal University of Bahia (ISC/UFBA), in collaboration with Cidacs and the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA).
